Jeremy is an award-winning writer and director whose first narrative feature film,Tall as the Baobab
Tree, garnered acclaim at festivals around the world and was commercially released by Sundance Artist Services in 2014. In July 2013 Jeremy was named one of Filmmaker Magazine's 25 New Faces of Independent Film.
Shot on location in rural Senegal, Tall as the Baobab Tree is inspired by true stories from Jeremy's documentary short film This Is Us, nominated for a 2011 Student Academy Award.
Jeremy graduated from Dartmouth College where he studied Film, Theater, and English. He looks forward to continuing an exploration of the intersection between fiction and reality in his next project, a feature narrative film set in the world of elite long-distance running.
